This journey into the runes is very close to my heart, and I’d love it if you’d join me as I continue to write and produce music and film on the subject by subscribing via email or RSS.

I have been studying the runes for over seven years, and they were always close as I was growing up, perhaps exerting some unconscious influence. In 2002 I had a series of intense experiences, which I might say was like hanging on Yggdrasil for nine nights. When I came back, my mind had learned the runes, intuitively. I’ve studied them passionately ever since, and felt no hesitation in believing strongly in my own ability to interpret them, and feeling no intimidation when digesting volumes of published literature.

Now, I want to help pass on with what I’ve learned. Rune Secrets is a site that will continue to publish the most valuable content and insights I can find within myself to share. I hope to get in touch with masters and beginners alike and forge an invaluable resource in Rune Secrets. The study of the runes and their meaning is a study of personal development, spiritual growth and the spread of consciousness throughout human societies and into the universe. The Elder Futhark Runes are a complete system of magic, and the oldest form of western wisdom. I hope to show you that they are also a complete system of psychology that can lead the seeker into understanding and enlightenment.

The Runes, as represented within the Elder Futhark, are an important and deeply ingrained part of how I look at the world and live out my life. I am an adamant lover of truth, humanity, honour and courage.

The runes are a set of keys that have served me so well in unlocking this life’s secrets and miracles, and I am passionate about sharing that with all who feel they can use them to the same end. My heart and my spirit soar when armed with their symbols and meanings.

How This Website Works

This site is a work in progress, and its content is constantly unfolding. I have begun by polishing my core notes and thoughts on each of the 24 runes in the Elder Futhark. Expect these core documents to shift and evolve as time goes on and check back when you need to review.

I naturally understand that a good deal of work has been done by others, so I will connect with rigorous systems developed in the past. However, I feel the emphasis must be placed upon the origins of my own thinking, because my understanding has reached a level where it can stand on its own, as a whole.

The runes are an undeniable passion of mine, even when I am busy (or should be busy) with other studies. I have so much planned for RuneSecrets.com, and it is an ambitious project.

My current sights (by September 2009) are set on:

• Rehashing all my notes on the Elder Futhark
• Completing the 24 post ‘Rune Meaning Analysis’ series
• Making the Rune Secrets site more accessible
• Expanding the practical and magical applications of the runes
• Produce an ambient music album with a meditation for each of the 24 runes

A longer term vision (2 years) includes:

• Publishing a book which will present an original, contemporary system of rune magic and psychology
• Film and direct an international documentary on the Elder Futhark and surrounding myths
